Is bad cramping normal in early pregnancy?

Im having bad cramps in my vagina and pelvis going up to my stomach. Im only 4 weeks, is this normal? It feels like intense menstruation cramps. No bleeding at all.

I had super painful cramps at 3.5wks until I was almost 5wks. I called a doula that I know and she said because I have pcos that it’s normal and not to worry. I also called an OBGYN and they said to take Tylenol and let them know if any bleeding occurred. You can take magnesium and up to 3000mg of Tylenol in 24 hrs. You can also use a heating pad on your belly it won’t hurt baby, I even asked the doula and she said that baby is very protected at 4wks and a heating pad or a hot/warm bath is okay to alleviate pain. You can put Epsom salts in the bath for extra magnesium too. I was also suggested to drink gatorade or something with electrolytes because of the amount of hard work my body was going through.

It can be bad or it can be normal. If there isnt bleeding you might be okay. I took warm baths every evening when my cramping was bad, which helped me relax too. I cramped between weeks 4-9. Then would also get one sided sharp pain which is often the corpus luteal cyst that is managing your progesterone early on.
