Schools in Ontario are suppose to open May 31st.. do you think that will happen?

When does your school year end? Do you have year round school?

I can’t see it happening.  The education minister said they are ramping up online learning and the school board employees are now able to volunteer to work at the long term care facilities.  
If it does happen, most of my friends with children are not sending them back.

You know I honestly didn’t even realize it was a Sunday lol weird. It isn’t anything set in stone anyways. School usually ends here towards the end of June. I have seen some talk that they might just extend the school year by a month or 2 but who knows if there’s any truth to that. 
We got this email April 28. I just saw a news article that said that the final decision was going to be made next week though so we will see..

Some people dont see a point in sending them if it’s just going to be for a couple weeks, but the county I live in is almost at 0 cases with no new ones recently, So if I feel it’s safe I would love for my daughter to have those last couple weeks with her friends if they do open. She misses her classmates and teachers so much.

Why would they open on a Sunday? And with a very short amount of time left? Here school would’ve ended on June 3rd
