Anyone from Washington State?

I’m moving there this week and I want to know some things you love and hate about the state. Anything fun to do? Favorite places to visit? Anything I should avoid?
I’m moving to Port Orchard but will be spending a lot of time in Tacoma because a friend lives there and because of school

I just transferred here from Virginia! I know no one and am located at naval station Everett. I’m a mom of one, and divorced. :) I need friends! Lol

Hate: it rains so fucking much, people are dangerously polite when driving, people are very touchy-feely here, the Mexican food here is garbage, everyone smokes (it's disgusting!), lots of shootings and gunshots near me in Tacoma, 
Love: it's so green, good hikes, nice farmers markets, pretty motorcycle rides,

-Rainier NP is absolutely incredible! 
-the Gorge Amphitheater (aka Heaven’s amphitheater) is to die for when we can go to concerts again.
-the coastline is beautiful and quite wild in most places
-it’s fun exploring the harbor islands
-We always have fun in Seattle doing the touristy stuff. My aunt lives there and really likes it. We tend to do more local stuff with her.

Different things for different areas!

I’ve lived here for a few years. It’s not terrible but not my personal cup of tea. If you’re one with nature, or die hard sports fan... then it’s a fun state. Otherwise I find it pretty boring and certain areas not so pleasant. I’ve lived in Georgia, West Virginia and Colorado prior to this state and this is by far the rudest state I’ve lived in. People never say excuse me, sorry, etc.
