Is there something wrong with me?

When my bf fingers me and focuses on my clit, it tends to get super sensitive to the point that it starts to hurt/ feel uncomfortable. I know that the clit is supposed to be where women feel the most sexual responses so does that mean it’s not possible for me to enjoy this part of my body because it gets so uncomfortable? He doesn’t just play with that part btw he’ll switch up between there and other parts but when he goes back it hurts again and I squirm away. What can I do:(?
