Due date today and been losing mucus plug all day

So I woke up at 1am to pee and lost a big chunk of my mucus plug and shortly after that cramping started. It was pretty intense and lasted until about 5am. I tried timing it but it was inconsistent and varied in intensity. Then it tapered off. I've been losing more plug all day, some with bloody tinges to it and off and on cramps all day. Is labor coming soon?? I'm just so uncomfortable and anxious. I tried timing the cramps for a while but they're so all over the place and inconsistent so I know it's not time for the hospital yet but I just wonder how soon it will be time.
