Is your 7 month old sitting up yet unassisted!!?!

Was curious to see if anyone’s babes are sitting unassisted yet?!! My daughter just turned 7 months old and can sit supported but not unsupported. Also rolls both ways.

Our girl can sit completely unassisted but her new favorite thing to do is fling herself backwards and hope someone catches her. It’s like an extra scary trust fall. Needless to say, we have been doing sitting time exclusively on our plush carpet. 😂

Our son can stay seated unassisted but he can't get himself into a sitting position.

Kiddo cant get herself to a seated position yet, but if we put her there she stays for anywhere between 2 and 10 minutes playing with toys before she leans sideways and ends up on her tummy

My LO can sit unsupported by herself but still hasn’t consistently rolled over in either direction 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’m learning all babies just move at their own speed!

My guy can sit unassisted for a good couple mins but I don't trust him enough not to hover over him when he is just incase he topples over. Today I found him sitting twice all by himself when I layed him down on his back. Not sure if it's intentional or not lol

Yes, he was sitting completely unassisted (not using hands to support) by 6 months, which was just over 4 months adjusted.  Some babies take a bit longer though so definitely don’t stress about it yet.  Every baby advances different skills differently xx
