Working out

So, I wasn’t exactly fit before I had my son and it shows. I lost all the baby weight plus some but I still look huge. I want to start working out but I am weirdly freaked out to start. I had a c-section, everything is healed but I am still worried if I start, I could injure myself. I have a friends wedding to go to in January and I want to look good in the bridesmaid dress, but I am having such a hard time getting started. How are you guys getting back into shape?
