3D and 4D Ultrasounds

So, with Covid-19 and all the disappointments about the stay at home order. I have had trouble being positive and felt honestly a little robbed of some of the joys of your first pregnancy. Including seeing your own family. I decided to schedule a 3D and 4D ultrasound for this Sunday the 17th and being so excited told both my mother and my mother in law. MIL started right off with safety and possible hazards of third party practices and too many ultrasounds. Then my mom after some venting on my part, decided to chime in about what she found on the internet.

I am here to ask you ladies: is this really a bad choice or will everything be fine? I want so badly to see him having been unable to hear his heart beat and go to normal appointments. Can it really hurt? I see a lot of pictures on here of 3D ultrasounds it seems the kids are still going fine!?
