Color Coordination for Maternity Pics

So I'm thinking about getting this dress for our maternity pictures but can't decide what my husband should wear. We are in Texas, and pics will be taken probably near the end of June/beginning of July when I'm around 32 weeks pregnant.

Should we go with a classic white button up for him or something else? He would prefer to wear jeans and his black Vans. Willing to listen to any and all suggestions. Bonus if you share a screenshot of a shirt you have in mind.

Also any suggestions on shoes for me? I have brown flip flops that are kinda dressy/more dainty, and I have black and galaxy Vans, but really don't have many other shoes besides that.
