Should I be worried?

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and these purple spots popped up this morning but I’m not sure what they’re from? I get something similar to this when my blood is drawn but I haven’t gotten anything done on this arm since around 20 weeks. Anyone know what this could be from?

I got the same exact spots on my chest when I was around. 15 weeks, my doctor said not to worry about it because rashes & discoloration of skin, etc. is normal during pregnancy.

I have those on my foot.... 😯 I asked my doc and she said she wasnt worried since they aren't raised up. They worry me tho...

I was going to ask if you had low platelets. I have had them for 4 years. You can get those when your platelets are low. The low end for an average person is 120,000 (I also work in a lab) and even a number of 100 isn’t bad but you can still get those spots. Call your doctor and ask what your platelets have been and ask for a CBC.

My son has a blood disorder called ITP and he gets those same marks when his platelets r low. Its called petechiae.
