<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> moms..question for you regarding breastfeeding and FET.

I am planning in advance for a FET. I talked to the fertility specialist last week and she would like me to get two periods before we start up the fertility work up (blood work and prenatal ultrasound). She let me know my insurance only uses the results for 3 months, so I should plan to do that 3 months before I plan to do a FET or that will have to be redone. With my medical history, she does anticipate I should get a period within the next 2 months, and if I do then breastfeeding can he continued pending the prolactin blood test results. She also let me know some people don’t get a period until they completely stop, but she said we can touch base again if I haven’t gotten one by August. Once I do the FET, I will only need a trigger shot then crinone (progesterone) and estrodial following the FET which are safe for breastfeeding.

My question for those who have gone through the same process..did you continue to breastfeed? Were you forced to stop because of your prolactin levels? How many months was your LO when you took this step.
