The Teacher Pt. 1

As I’m walking down the hallway to my next class a guy knocks shoulders with me. I look up to see the hottest guy that has ever graced these halls. He smiles at me, & I melt. He has one of those smile/smirks that makes him 100% irresistible. My cheeks flush as I smile back & hurry to walk away. As I sit down in class I cannot stop thinking about him. I wonder who he was? Is he someone’s older brother? Should I ask my friends if they know? Who is this guy!? Just then he walks into my classroom. He goes & stands behind the desk and with that smile, says, “Hi everyone! I’m your new chemistry teacher, y’all can call me Mr. B!” It’s obvious that the girls are already head over heels in love as they start flirting. But, as he scans the crowd he makes eye contact with me & smirks. My heart feels like it’s gonna beat out of my chest & I feel my cheeks getting hot. The rest of the class goes on & I’m counting down the minutes until it’s over. Finally the bell rings & I start to rush out. “Wait, Miss Nikki.” he says. Omf. He did not just say my name. Stay calm. I turn & walk up to him & he moves to sit on the edge of the desk, now being very close to me. My heart races. He smells so good. Like clean clothes and cologne. “How did you know my name?” I say. “Well, after our “meeting” *he smirks* in the hall, I asked someone what your name was. Just trying to get to know my students.” “Oh okay. Well, I’m gonna be late to lunch so...” I turn to walk away. “Wait,” he says as he grabs my wrist. My entire body feels like it’s on fire. “Yes, Mr. B?” I ask in a teasing tone. He looks me in the eyes & bites his lip. “I just wanted to tell you.. uhm.. to have a good day.” “Oh. Thanks.” I’m disappointed & walk out. Was I making something out of nothing?
