Should I get her a baby shower gift?

So my husbands nephew (19) knocked up his girlfriend and she’s due next month. We’ve never been close with his nephew, he’s a total mess. Constantly asking any family member for money, been arrested multiple times, always talks about smoking weed and drinking. We’ve met his girlfriend once. I was friends with her on Facebook and she always posts about how miserable their relationship is and they’ve broken up literally 4 times since she’s been pregnant lol. She randomly last week deleted all of us on Facebook, including my husbands parents, who would be the babies great grandparents. It irritated me because my MIL had planned a big shower for her but it got cancelled due to covid. Anyways, I know they aren’t well off by any means but she constantly brags about all the baby stuff she has, OR she’s asking for free stuff on Facebook 🙄 Her registry is filled with pricey items. Since it is my husbands nephews baby too, should we get them a gift? I just know we’ll never see this baby and I honestly cannot stand them. Is it okay to just get something super small and cheap if I do?
