Any word on when hospitals will begin to lift restrictions on having partners attend appointments?

Is it lifted with the states shelter in place orders or is there a separate restriction timeline for this?

It depends on the state. I don’t know about our hospital but our doctors offices still allow one person back there with you which im thankful for. But we haven’t been hit as hard here as everyone else

I don’t think those are state requirements, I think that’s something the medical community has implemented where they feel it’s needed, so unfortunately there’s no way to know.  It will depend on the activity in our areas and what they feel is safe or not.  I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon though

I may use a birthing center when the time comes if this is still going on. No way that I am leaving my husband out of the delivery. Dont know if hospitals are still doing that but a few were.

My center only just stopped letting partners go in. Kind of a bummer since my state relaxed all the rules. But there’s nothing I can do about it

I work for the hospital I'll be delivering at and they change policies alot, but as of right now it will just be my hubby and I delivering in July. The hospital's policies have nothing to do with the shelter in place as they set the restrictions themselves. You will just have to ask that particular hospital.
