How many shots to expect at 2 month check up?

First time mom here and wondering if you ladies can give me an information on how the check up might go, thanks. What helped calm baby down ?

Bring something that he likes to hold or snuggle with. I found it early that once the exam was done, I put all there clothes back on except for the pants so it was hard trying to pack up and leave once it was done. I always just rocked them and gave kisses and talked to them once it was done. My daughter took her bink after she got her shots .

Baby girl got one oral and three needles, one in one leg two in the other. She was so mad after, screamed her little head off. Daddy was there to calm her down. Some babies like to nurse right after, not mine. She calmed down when we loaded her into the car seat to take her hone. She fussed for a bit then fell asleep. She had. I fever and no issues. Just napped extra that day. Her 4 month shots were the same except she was all smiles once we got into the car and her normal self all day. My husband couldn’t go that time because of covid so it was just me. Being relaxed and calming for her really helped as well as rocking her and giving her lots of cuddles.

An oral vaccine, two shots in one leg and one shot in the other leg. 
Make sure they prep the needles so that they can poke, poke, poke as quickly as possible so you can give the hugs and snuggles to make them feel better.  Do ask for a Tylenol dose chart. My sons legs hurt him for about 24 hours but the tylenol helped ease it up.

First time mom too! Depending on your pediatrician, baby will either get rotavirus vaccine to drink only or will add in tdap and polio. My baby got all 3 in 1 shot- he only cried for 1 of the 2 shots but he did get a fever after which went away with tylenol. I left the room and  my husband (the calmer one) held baby and i think thats a big reason why he didnt cry too much! Calm parent=calm baby is what ive learned. Good luck to your little one!
