Healing after 2nd degree tear

I had a two degree tear after delivering my healthy baby boy on 3/13/20 I’m 9 weeks pp and having issues healing, it’s hard to explain but there is like a flap blocking my vaginal opening making it’s impossible to have intercourse. My doctor says she wants me to wait two more weeks (she told me this twice already, so a total of 4 extra weeks) and that if it doesn’t get better she would have to numb me and trim off the part blocking it 😫 has anyone experienced this after delivering????
