Hey y’all. Ok so my landlord keeps on trying to call my grandmother who is my emergency contact. I was late on my rent this month, but I paid her her rent money last week. My grandma texted me this morning saying that my landlord is still trying to call her. I am wondering why she keeps on trying to call my grandmother. My rent is paid , I don’t do anything to her. I come home from work and say hello and go straight to my room. My landlord is not a nice person at all. When she’s mad she yells and curses at me. I’ve asked her to stop please several times and she said no that’s how she talks to people. I am a tenant and deserve respect especially when I’m paying $575 for one room, with no WiFi in the house and she charges you to watch tv in the living room and charges you $6 to wash your laundry. This is why I’m moving out soon. I just got another job. I don’t understand why she keeps trying to call my grandma about whatever . I treat my landlord with respect. Never once have I cursed at her or disrespected her like she does to me. My landlord isn’t saying anything to me when I come in to the house. She just greets me that’s it. I am 21 years old. If she has something to say, I thought she would just say it to me rather than try to get my family involved. Has your landlord ever did this to you guys? What did you do about it? Btw she’s an old , bitter lady who is always angry and doesn’t remember anything.
