blood clots help!!!

hi! okay so i’m 5 days away from my period, and for the past few days i’ve had light bleeding like it looks like my period just not as heavy. but today , i had a massive blood clot fall out of me followed by a lot of blood (i usually do get blood clots just not as big) . i’m just concerned because my period isn’t due for 5 more days, does this just sound like and early period ??
