30+ coming out stories?
I'd love hear them! I'm bi and have only openly dated men. I've only ever told 1 very close friend that I'm bi. She has been an amazing support. I want to be more honest with others but feel like I'd be looked at differently, especially since I waited until after I turned 30 to come out. (Recently turned 30...)
My parents are who I'm most afraid of. My mom would claim she's fine with it but really either find it disgusting or not believe me/think I want attention. My dad....well idk his exact reaction but it wouldn't be good. He's a huge homophobe. If I didn't already have a son that he adores, he'd probably disown me.
Also, I work in healthcare and am scared my co-workers would feel weird about me working with female patients. I know this is RIDICULOUS b/c I also work with male patients and they're not concerned with that. But, let's be honest, the LGBTQ community isn't known for receiving level headed thinking. 😒😒

(PS if you know me and somehow stumble upon this, please be a decent human being and keep your mouth shut 🙃🤭🤐🤐)
