When do you ovulate??

I’m really confuse. I’ve heard people say you ovulate 24-36 hours after your first positive and then other people are saying after your LH peak... which is it?!😭

I assumed a positive and a peak with the same thing. Like your LH peak will result in a positive ovulation strip.

You ovulate 12-48 (or so) hours after your first positive opk. But opks alone do not confirm ovulation, they are a tool to use while paying attention to other signs (temp, CM, CP).

LH is the hormone responsible for facilitating the eggs release so typically after a peak in LH the egg is released 16-36 hrs later. You can figure  out if you ovulate the day of the surge or the next day by testing with opk s for a 2-3 months. 14 days after ovulation is when menstruation happens. So counting the days between your LH peak and menstrual cycle can help you pinpoint closer to when you ovulate.
