If I think I ovulated late when should I test?

So currently 2 days late, I believe (not verified) I ovulated on the 7th this month instead of the 2nd, I did take a test yesterday which had a very faint positive but have read the brand I used was notorious for false positives (found out after buying, and these where the only ones available)

So when wpuld be an accurate time to actually test or should I just keep waiting for af to show? Any one else experience something similar?

Edit: period was due on the 16th, the circles are grey because they have been "missed period days so far"
