Sore spot in boob

So lately I’ve had this really tender spot in my left breast, it’s right outside of the areola. There isn’t any kind of a lump, it just feels like the normal gland-like ness of a boob lol. I’ve been told sometimes hormonal changes can cause harmless cysts or sore tissue, but it’s just so unusual for me considering I have like, no boobs. I’m literally a AA cup. Anyone ever experience this?
