How often and how much are you feeding your month old babies?

Curious too about night feedings, do you wake them up every 3-4 hours? 
Our pediatrician said we are over feeding but our baby screams hungry for the little bit more and I’m just uncertain I agree with him and he really didn’t give us a chance to say it varies, she eats more at night but sleeps very good(6 hours solid) and he said to cut back on feeding and wake her up to feed every 3-4 hours because babies shouldn’t sleep that long, the ozs equals out to the same, it’d still be an oz an hour the way we are doing it 🤦🏻‍♀️

My daughter always drank different amounts at different times, newborn- she cluster fed during the night and drank 2ounces every 2hours or so. Around 3 weeks I stopped waking her during the night as she wanted to sleep anyways... my doctor said I was over feeding, then I tried cutting back a couple ounces and I was under feeding so I just said fuck it, she will eat when she wants to...  as long as she’s not loosing weight or gaining extreme amounts but she’s always been a chunk lol

If your child is at a healthy weight, there is no need to wake them up and night if they are sleeping at night. However, when my son was a month old, he was only eating 2oz every 2-3 hours and wasn’t sleeping through the night. He didn’t start that til about 8 weeks and he was eating 4oz by then. Why does your pediatrician think you are over feeding your baby?

I don’t give formula but I do sometimes give my baby the bottle with my pumped milk. If this info helps, my midwife told me a baby should only drink 120-125ml of milk every two to three hours. It is easy for a baby to over drink with a bottle because it goes so much faster than the boob and that is why she said only give the baby this much to drink or we’ll be over feeding him. 
I think maybe your baby thinks he’s still hungry because he’s drinking so fast and he hasn’t given his stomach enough time to realize that he is actually full. Try giving him the recommended amount the doctor told you and just burp, hold your baby for 20 minutes and if he’s still freaking out, tell your docitr. I would try this until your next baby appointment and see if your baby adjusts.

They say if they are a healthy weight and staying at it and sleeping throughout the night then there's no need to wake them. And i have no idea why they say they over eating as a baby will let you know when there hungry/not hungry🤦🏼‍♀️
