How much is insurance for baby

Hi, FTM and major planner here 🙋🏼‍♀️. I’m only 4.5 weeks but looking ahead and want to start looking at insurance options. I have an independent policy through Blue Shield. My husband has VA. For those who have independent policies, how much was it to add on your new baby?

My husband has a plan offered through work but it’s a completely different network and the prices seem pretty steep but obviously want to compare between that and continuing paying for independent policies.

I’m in CA if that matters at all. All suggestions welcome!
