Andrew...thoughts?

Here is the situation...I really like the name Drew, but my husband doesn't care for it. However, he does really like the name Andrew. Would it be weird if we named our son Andrew and my husband calls him Andrew, and I call him Drew for short? Andrew is OK, but just a little old fashioned for my taste.

My husband calls our daughter bean and I call her goose (hopefully it goes without saying that neither is her name 😂)

My husband’s name is Andrew and a lot of people, including family members, call him Drew. I call him Drew when I’m calling him from far away (easier to yell 😂)

Totally fine. I call one of my kids Baby Bear and my husband doesn't. He's not confused. You'll just have to kind of decide when he goes to school, which name to have him called by.
