Empty gestational sac at 6w?

Question

I had my first early ultrasound today. I'm a repeat loss-er and have hormone issues, which is why my dr wanted to see me so early. 
We only saw a gestational sac during the TV ultrasound today. No yolk sac or fetal pole. It doesn't look like other people's 6w ultrasound either. It seems much smaller. 
Did anyone else have an empty sac at 6w and go on to have a healthy pregnancy? 
I have a follow up ultrasound in 7 days.

I went in thinking I was 7 weeks and was told that I was only about five weeks because it was only the sac. I went back at 6 weeks and there was a baby and heartbeat. Maybe you’re not as far as you’re thinking like myself. Good luck!!!

Hang in there. I went in a month ago thinking I was 7 weeks and they couldn't see anything, basically just a small black dot like your picture. I went back yesterday and there was a baby with a heartbeat! I'm 9 weeks today but should be 11w5d according to my last period. Maybe you just ovulated later than you thought like me. Fingers crossed for you! ❤

It looked like I had an empty sac too. I'm 24 weeks now! It's probably just too early to tell

I went to do my first ultrasound in 6 week 2 day. My doctor told me that I have empty gestational sac. Which make very sad. Because I am trying to have baby since a year.  Doctor told me to come after 2 week. Hopping for best
