How long till next baby?

When after your first baby did you try for your second? Iv just had my baby girl and honestly can’t wait to have more but do want to wait a year or two before I try again for another one. Was just wondering how long people waited to have another baby.

I waited until he a year. He’s now 2.5 and I’ll be having our second in November as it took 17 months to conceive this one. It took my 3 years to get our first and I have endo so my doctor encouraged me to have them close together in the hopes I wouldn’t need surgery in between but it still took awhile. Even with being on a deadline, haha, my doctor still felt I should wait until I was a year post partum to give my body time to heal itself from the first pregnancy.

My son was three years old when I got pregnant with baby number two. My son was to be an only child as I was told (after two ectopic pregnancies before and after him) I would no longer be able to have kids naturally anymore. Well now my second was a year and two months old when I got pregnant with my now third baby (due in July). She’ll be two in August!

We started trying at 9 months because we are older and want three kids. We had a few losses along the way and finally conceived our rainbow baby a month after our son turned 2. His little sister will be here a few months before he turns 3, and we will wait a year before evaluating whether to start trying for the third.

We don't plan on waiting very long - maybe a little less than a year before trying again. We are a little on the "older" end of the parenting spectrum so we want to take advantage before it gets to be too late.

Between my first and second I waited 6 years but we still lived at home at the time, we only had one car, then we found out of son is autistic!! THE TIMING WAS NOT RIGHT!! 
Fast forward though to now we have our own house and we each have our own car life is easier after getting the right help for our son so we decided to have baby #2 . She will be 8 months old on the 26th and I’ll be 8 weeks pregnant the 27th!!!
If timing was right sooner we would of had them much earlier!!! 💖💖💖💖

I wanted my kids close together cuz I’m already older. I had a csection with my first and was told to wait 6 months to ttc. Got pregnant at 7 months. Babies will be 16.5 months apart

Between my first and second they are 3 years apart. I didn’t want them to close or to far apart in age. I also wanted to make sure my first was potty trained and more independent before bringing in another baby. And my husband and I wanted to just enjoy her as the only child before things get a little more harder with 2 kids lol. I’m pregnant with my third baby and between my second and this baby they will also be 3 years apart. I think having a 2-3 year age gap is perfect because they can still be close growing up.

There will be nearly 5 years between mine. I was traumatised by my first birthit took me a while to want to try again. Then everytime we started to try something came up. I think you just have to decide when the time is right and then dont stop x
