24 weeks, barely any weight gain.
My first pregnancy came with a whole slew of issues. My gallbladder needed to be removed, I developed GD, needed an emergency c-section, and I gained somewhere around 30-40lbs by the time I delivered.
My second pregnancy has been going suspiciously smoothly and I haven't had any issues yet, aside from barely gaining any weight. My initial weigh in at week 6 was 171lbs. I am at week 24 now and weighed in at 172.8lbs. A whopping 1.8lb gain over the past 6 months.
I asked my OB if he was concerned with my weight gain 2 months ago, and he said he wasn't because I'm overweight, and that slow weight gain gives me more leeway in the third trimester. My next appointment is on the 2nd and I'm going to bring it up to him again, but I wanted to see if anyone else dealt with slow weight gain and still went on to have a healthy pregnancy. (I'm also keeping my fingers loosely crossed that this could mean I don't develop GD again 😁)
