I'm pregnant with #4 and always dilate without issue. Any time I have had my cervix checked in previous pregnancies i would have a few contractions and maybe a little spotting that's i. I had my cervix checked yesterday (not a sweep) at 430 and I've had on an off contractions since then. They're not intense but any slight touching of my stomach kicks up a contraction. And I'm losing a bit of my mucus plug now too. My ob said I have a week maybe 2 left. Is their any chance that just a simple check can put me into labor??

I was 3cm 60% effaced at my appointment.
