How I came out to my mom!

dream

Since I was 12, I knew I was bisexual. A lot of girls in my school came out but I chose not too because everyone would of thought that I’m just saying it because everyone else is. I came out to my friends at 14 when a got into this huge argument with my ex-best friend who threatened to tell everyone when I wasn’t ready. So, I decided to tell everyone before my ex- best friend did. A few months went by and I still hadn’t told my mom until one faithful family party. I was my grandma’s birthday and my whole family was there. I didn’t know that my mom thought I was bi but when we were all talking, she was asking about my cousin’s boyfriend (she is a few years older than me), then my mom said ‘yeah my daughter she likes both’. I was shocked and confused and denied it all. Until we came home and I asked her about the comment she made. She said it was a joke but then I broke down in tears and told her that she was right. She gave me and big hug and told me she loved me now matter what. ❤️
