So my inlaws have been amazing, really welcomed me into the family always asking how i am and hows work and my family is ect anyway i was so excited to tell them the baby news and expecting to be fussed over.

It was 7 weeks ago we told them and they literally havent mentioned baby. Weve seen them (socially distance) and they never bring it up, if i mention anything baby related the subject gets changed like theres no interest there at all. They don't ask how baby is doing, about scans, havent brought anything, asked if we are finding out sex or names.

To be honest in really disapointed by it.

My parents who im not as close with have called me up all the time and sent me parcels and always ask everything they are so excited.

Is it because they already have 2 grandchildren so theyre not excited?

Its made me question if they are disappointed by the news?

My fiance just says they probably dont want to be nosey but i dont feel like asking how a baby is is nosey?
