False labor

I was in labor 2-3 mins apart 2 nights ago and went from closed to 3 cm 60 efface and 0 station and got steroid shots and all the doctors were sure I was giving birth that day and put me into the labor suite. Well after 12 hours of contractions they started to slow down and basically being 37 weeks pregnant they felt no medical reason to give me anything to help get them going back up again so I was sent home in 24 hours after second steroid shot in my leg for babys lungs just in case. Get home and lose my mucus plug/ bloody show. Also annoyed apparently baby went back up to -2 station and some how my cervix went to 50 effacement before leaving on my last check. I know he needs a long time to stay inside for it is better for him but damn to think ima meet my baby to not sucks! Also they have to test everyone for covid luckily me and my man have the antibodies so we just showed them our documents and didn’t have to get the test.
