I am 37 weeks + 2 days and i just had my weekly appointment and dr said my cervix is soften but not where he wants it to be. I have to be induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes’s. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen? And what can i do to soften my cervix by next appointment.

He also said there is two different ways to induce someone, 1 is to start Pitocin right away or 2 having to take two pills to help soften the cervix before induction.
