Tryimg to concieve

So I got my nexplanon taken out may 4th, I had a weird unusual short period about a week before I got it taken out. And according to the app my period is due tomorrow. Well 2xs last week I had some brown spotting. Like super light lasted only a little bit. Not even a full day. Very light cramping. What could this mean? Should I take a test? I'm driving myself crazy so thought I would take to here to see what y'all had to say?.
