Do you ever regret moving out of your parents house?

Question

I want to have more freedom (no curfew, no tracking my phone, and no limits) just like how my parents do to me. They have a midnight curfew for me and never allow me to sleep over my friends house (I’m 20 and in college - I commute). My dad said he regret moving out of his house when he was in college because he could’ve saved all the money. But the reason he moved out was because he didn’t like his mother. 
I have enough money for a couple months rent and I will be rooming with two other people. I currently have no job right now because my job is closed due to the virus. I get unemployment checks and have been saving them up. 
Thoughts please?
T/N: I only want to move out for 2 years and if possible I can move back in with my parents (they said it’s ok but I have to pay rent). I just want to know how it’s like living on my own and without rules and stuff.

I wouldn’t recommend moving out until you are able to work again. Unemployment is paying more now but that ends in July and will be hard to make ends meet with regular unemployment benefits.

You’re 20 and your parents are still enforcing teenager rules on you? I’m 17 and my parents stopped doing all that years ago, they can track my phone but they only do that if I’m out too late or not responding to them, more out of worry than anything- as long as they know roughly where I’m going and who I’m with they don’t mind if I’m out late, and my phone is entirely my own. If you’re 20 and can’t have any level of freedom from your parents it may be time to move out, or at least to sit down and have a serious conversation with them about boundaries and personal liberty.
As an example I was at work in January and my friend sent me a text asking if I wanted to go to dinner, I said yes, sent my parents a quick text telling them I was going to dinner with  and drive over to pick them up. After dinner I sent them another quick text to let them know I would be home in about 45 minutes (we chatted for a bit at his house) and that I would take the dogs out. Got home around 9:30 (I had work in the morning so didn’t want to stay out too late). door was unlocked for me and I took the dogs out, fed them, locked the door and went to bed.
At 20 you should have freedom to do what you want even if you’re living in your parents house and the fact that you don’t have that is worrying...

I have never once regretted moving out of my parents house. Not once. I think it's time for you to ya know...grow up. Get a job (once able) and move out. Why do you feel the desire to nice back in with them? Cut the cord

The only thing that makes me say don’t is that you don’t have a job. I’m about to move out in a week all the way across the country, so I can’t say yet if I regret moving away or not. If you feel like it’s the best for you then do it, but not being financially stable will probably make you regret moving out.
