Is it normal to be envious?

Question

So many women around me, friends and family, are announcing their pregnancies, posting bump updates, etc. Is it wrong of me to feel envious and jealous?? All I want is to be a mom and I feel like maybe I’m not meant to be one... Life isn’t fair😔 I’m 9 dpo and I’m praying this is my month but I have very low hopes it actually is. TTC is exhausting and DEPRESSING 😭😭😭

I dont think it's wrong to be envious or jealous. It's natural to be a little when you're trying hard for something and see someone else with it (especially loved ones). Just remember that some of them may have tried as hard as you are.

Completely normal. Not one but both of my female friends ended up pregnant at the same time last year and I couldn’t help but to feel jealous because I’ve wanted a baby for SOOOO long . I know that I am very maternal and that could be a huge role to my wanting . Eventually , I understood that it just means that i should try harder . Your baby will come soon and I now tell myself .... “Being jelly won’t put a baby in your belly “ 😂 It’s silly but anything helps

Totally normal! Last year one of my best friends announced her pregnancy to our church on Mother’s Day and evening though I knew before that it was still a huge trigger for me. I ended up going out to my car after church to break down away from everyone. Totally normal to feel envious. Just try not to let it eat you up. I still some times feel jealous of those around me getting pregnant but I work through it. It’s tough though.

It's normal to be envious. Just keep it in perspective. Someone else's good fortune says nothing about you. Don't let it turn you into a bitter cow.
