Cyst on my ovary?

Question

So I went to the doctor and turns out I had a cyst rupture on my ovary when i was ovulating. I’m just a little confused by all this, I asked if it would affect me having kids in the future he said no. Never said anything a PCOS. Is this something common that happens? He seemed to think everything was okay.

Most of us have cysts- usually pretty normal. Unless they grow or start giving you issues.

It can happen, yes. Sometimes cysts develop & go away on their own (I had one that went away when I was a teen), and sometimes they happen & can rupture & it not cause any issues... and, in some other cases, it can cause issues. All of this can happen without it actually being PCOS. But, if ur doctor checked everything out & things look ok, then there’s no need worry. 
Also, I have a cousin who suffered a bad ruptured ovarian cyst when she was younger & wasn’t sure if she would be able to have kids... well, she actually has 4 kids now lol. So, even if/when it seems it may not be possible, it very well could be possible. And, even people with PCOS can still have kids, sometimes it makes the process of conceiving a little more difficult.
