Any advice for a 1yr old who hates brushing teeth?

I let her play with a tooth brush but she won’t let me brush with it. I’ve been using a wash cloth but sometimes that doesn’t get everything out. She cries and clenches her jaw even when I play baby songs on YouTube

Do you brush your teeth with her? We started just by having him in the room with us while we brush our teeth with a sonic tooth brush, then let him hold the toothbrush and brush our teeth, and now he has his own sonic toothbrush and we all do it together still about half the time.

My first liked when we brushed our teeth with him, he would hold our toothbrush and brush our teeth while we held his and brushed his toothbrush.
