Tooth paste / gel and tooth Brushing ideas ?

Please recommend a good tooth paste for my 1 yr old . He has 8 teeth in total . I was just using finger brush but I can smell his mouth when he wakes up .

I’m a dental assistant and any child toothpaste is fine. Just make sure you only put a drop just a little smaller than pea size. Fluoride toothpaste is best, its like vitamins for your teeth and the #1 fighting agent to prevent cavities. I have an 8 year old, a 6 year old and a 1 year old all cavity free. But do what you feel is best for your family. Also my 1 year old gets dental appointments every 3 months and my two older kids go twice a year.
