Is it weird that I prefer dating military guys?

So my friends always make fun of me because I've dated a lot of military guys. I live less than 10 minutes from West Point so I've dated a couple of guys who go to Army as well as a guy from Navy. I wouldn't necessarily say its on purpose, I generally just prefer guys who are smart, respectful, tough and physically fit. I've dated non military guys as well and at the end of the day it's not like it makes or breaks my decision to date someone. But I'm starting to worry that this is weird and all my friends make fun of me for having a very specific type. I also don't want the guys to think I'm purposely chasing after military guys or anything because that's probably a turn off lmao. For me there's just a huge sense of pride that comes with being with a man that defends our country. I know that like any other type of guy, there's shitty military guys as well but in general I've found that they're normally well mannered and treat me very respectfully. Is anyone else like this or am I strange??
