With the coronavirus going on, did your midwife schedule your 12 week appointment for you, or did you have to ring and make it yourself? It’s been 2 weeks since I was at my booking appointment and I’ve not received my scan letter. I’m 12 weeks in 2 weeks time, I’m starting to worry in case I missed the midwife saying I had to make the appointment myself...

The midwife referred me to the hospital that I chose in my area and I have received a phone call from them at about 10 weeks to set up the 12 weeks scan appointment date. They said they’re not sending letters anymore. Try ringing your midwife or if you know where you should have your scan, ring them. Someone there should be able to help with some info. I booked my 20weeks scan at the hospital, after I had my 12 weeks scan. They said again, that they won’t be sending letters.

I had a letter sent out to me about the 12 week scan not long after I had the 8 week appointment with the midwife. I had to book the 20 week scan myself while at the hospital for the 12 week scan

With my appointments so far it’s been that they will book it if it’s a scan and I have to book if it’s just a normal appointment. 
When I had my scans the letters came about a month before, so may be worth ringing your midwife to check as you don’t want to miss out.
