After being in a relationship with a man I didn’t know was married until one day she (wife) called my phone cursing me out. I told her I’m not a female of low standards and that he came on to me and has been staying with me for months at a time. I told her everything and she still didn’t believe it and was just so hostile with me. Basically why when you tell a wife her husband is cheating on her and you knew nothing about it,..she’ll fight with you but not her dirtbag husband

Misdirected anger unfortunately. I personally wouldn't blame the woman even if she knew about me. He took the vow, it is no one else's responsibility to respect the marriage but the 2 people in it.

Her husband told some elaborate lies about you and how you are the problem 
She’s in love with him so unfortunately that means she’s going to want to believe his side of the story 
And she’s taken it all out on you

She is probably fully aware that he’s lying and that the real issue is her husband

This is why every time I see a post here from a poor woman who finds out shes in a relationship with a married man and asks if she should tell the wife I say NO! Somehow, it always becomes her fault.

Yeah if it were me and you didn't know I wouldn't be mad at you at all that would be all on him. A lot of the time the wife attacks the mistress and believes everything the husband says, then they cycle repeats and in the end the wife wonders why she went through all of that 🤷

Something called don’t kill the messenger. Unfortunately she views you as the homewrecker or not him. This happens all the time. Misdirected anger, she thinks you were the one who broke up her family not him that you and taste him you were the One in the wrong etc. It’s easier to blame you then to Blame him and have to deal with him later. No one wants to hear the truth. It hurts obviously. This is exactly why I don’t get involved in anybody’s issues or problems. If I know someone’s cheating not my monkey not my circus. I’m not gonna have her go crazy on me or blame me or take it out on me when I’m just trying to be helpful nope learned my lesson along time ago. Don’t kill the messenger. When he has was the one who made the choice to break up his family, Lose his kids, risk it all and reality, but he didn’t see it that way probably saw some thing innocent, some thing as an escape from reality, some thing as an adventure that was exciting with no hope of getting caught ever. But clearly that backfired and he didn’t get caught. You were the innocent one unless he didn’t know he was married, he’s the one who broke up with his family not you. Don’t feel guilty don’t feel bad, it was his choice, you didn’t even know he was married. Sadly this crap happens all the time. Guy feels lonely, the guy feels neglected, the guy needs adventure or excitement or wants to see what he can get away with and sadly it happens a lot when the woman is pregnant. whatever the hell the reason is. Obviously not right but not your problem anymore.

He’s probably told her a bunch of lies to make himself look more innocent, she doesn’t know you and she is also in a state of shock or disbelief. 
Ive never understood it though. If someone cheated on me id say she is welcome to him.

That sounds a bit off to me and u should re-evaluate your standards.
As far as her going off on you, I’m sure her whole world/life has just been shattered, we all would like to say we wouldn’t hate the other woman and to blame the man but we are human and that’s just not reality.
