Husband won’t get a landscaper

So this is really pissing me off.

I am a stay at home mom. My husband was recently promoted to vp of his company and has been working like crazy. Most days he’s at work at 6am logged off at 7pm. But then he pretty much has to always be available and will at times be working until 11pm.

Weekends he usually logs in about 9-11am. Unless there’s an incident, he doesn’t work, maybe checks in quick in the late afternoon, and evening, but that’s usually 20 mins tops.

My husband works very hard, and he made a beautiful life for us. But this is where I am pissed off. He won’t get a freaking landscaper, and he’s obsessed, OBSESSED with our lawn. The weekends after he logs into work, he is literally outside 11 am until 6 pm. He eats dinner, then he’s tired and wants to relax. But the thing is, he spends no time with our toddler. It’s getting to me really bad, because our son will sit by the door and watch him work on the lawn and the garden and the mulch and the bushes and cry because he wants to play with him. It makes me so sad. During the week by the time my husband is done with work, he is tired, and our son is getting ready for bed anyway. I am begging him to take an hour out of his stupid lawn work shit to play with our son, and he gets all pissed off that he wants our house to look good “for the family” meanwhile no one in the family gives a shit if the bushes are all the same length. He won’t get a landscaper because he likes doing it. I feel like if he likes doing it, by all means, do it one day a week. Everyone should be able to do something they enjoy. But both Saturday and Sunday is ridiculous. I suggested maybe a landscaper do the time consuming things, and he can do the rest, and just spend a few hours instead of all damm day, and he said no.

He literally spends no time with our toddler and it’s really upsetting.
