Pitocin affects breastfeeding?

Question

I had to have pitocin, because my water broke and I wasn’t having contractions. Now my baby is 2 days old, my breastmilk haven’t came in yet. I read that pitocin can delay breast milk from coming in. I tried to find answers on how long this delay could last. I’m really wanting to breastfeed. I’ve been breastfeeding my baby from both sides, then I give her formula. If anyone can share their story with me about pitocin and breastfeeding, I’d appreciate it!
EDIT: to those who suggests not to supplement need to have a better suggestion. My daughter was at my breasts from 8pm to 2am with no breaks in between. She was starving and I simply didn’t have the milk for her! I’d prefer that she’s fed and not starved! Thank you!

I had pitocin with both of my births and had no issues breastfeeding. 
Breastmilk typically comes in on days 4-5 ish & babies tummy’s are so tiny that the little colostrum you’re producing until then, is enough for them. I wouldn’t supplement with formula right now

I’ve never seen pitocin decrease breastmilk. Milk can come in anywhere from 3-5 days after birth but supplementing with formula can also cause a decrease in your supply. Baby needs to be to the breast as much as possible to stimulate production

It took me almost 5 days to get my milk in those 5 days were hell she was on my breast almost all the time my nipples were cracked and bleeding and painful I only used formula twice when I really needed it

It is normal for it to take 4 days for it to come in. Don’t worry! Mine started coming in around 3.5 days and when I woke up on day 4 I was full! You are producing what baby needs right now. Don’t worry and give it more time. I successfully breastfed for 17 months and had an oversupply.

I had my baby on Monday 5/11 by Saturday I had plenty of supply. The colostrum is nutrient rich and the baby’s stomach is very tiny. Your baby will be ok.

I didn’t realise pitocin could do that - I had it and it took 7 days for my milk to come in. It was tough and we fed her with formula for those first few days to make sure she was getting enough food. It made the beginning tough, but if you feel strongly about breastfeeding then it’s worth it!

I had pitocin. Start pumping! I started in the hospital cause I wanted to see what I was producing. Started giving baby one bottle per day on day 3. We had to pace feed her but never had nipple confusion. She breastfed on demand and got bottle from daddy every morning so I could sleep for an hour or two. Good luck.

I didn’t have pitocin but it took 5 days for my milk to come in. And when it did it came in hard and fast. I have an over supply now. Pitocin might have an affect, but it might just be you. It can take a few days for it come fully come in
