Dry texter

My boyfriend and I text pretty often throughout the day. Although texting isn’t a huge thing to me I just notice sometimes he seems really into it and other times he doesn’t. How do I stop feeling so blah when I feel like he doesn’t care to text.

For context we’re 22 & 23. I hope this doesn’t come across as me being needy and needing him to text me because it’s really not like that. But I can’t help but feel weird when he’s short with texting
