Sore throat never goes away!!!

I have been having a sore throat for the past 2 weeks now and I went to urgent care and they tested me for strep throat and it come out negative so than they told me I could be a viral infection cause my throat does look red and irritated but it’s been two weeks and my throat still hurts!! What could it be!! Could it be allergies?? Because my noise is runny, I’ve been sneezing, and inside my ears always itch all day!!! I’ve never had allergies so this is my first time but when my allergies first started to appear my throat never got sore so I don’t know if it’s allergies or not. Should I go see another doctor or am I just over thinking 😫
