Why only 3 Plan B allowed?

I’m curious as to why it’s recommended to only take 3 Plan B pills in your whole lifetime. I’ve been seeing a lot of people say that, but I’ve never read anything like that online. Anyone with any information on this? Does it get less effective every time?

That’s not true.
It’s recommended not to take more than 2 in a year because of all of the hormones.
1 Plan B is like taking an entire months worth of birth control pills in one sitting. They’re not good for you and seriously mess up your system.
If you’re taking more than 2 a year, it’s a good indicator that you need to be on real birth control and to start being more responsible.

I don’t think there’s a specific number, but it is not something you should take often. You shouldn’t need it often. If you need to take plan b often, you need to fix something else that’s going on. Like use condoms or get on actual birth control that’s recommended for regular use.

Because it's not birth control it's an emergency contraception. It's not ment to be taken often or for long periods of time for a reason. Probably causes damage to the reproductive system.
