Is there a 22 month sleep regression?
My daughter has been refusing her afternoon nap since Monday and it has been making all of us absolutely miserable by the end of the day.
I usually try to put her down and nurse between 1:30-3:30, but the past couple days I can lay in bed with her for hours and she will not drop off.
I've tried putting her down after lunch, after a snack, with tv/tablet, without tv/tablet, with boob, without boob, putting her in bed and closing the door, laying in bed with her, trying every half hour. Nothing has worked.
I started working again over the weekend, and I came home on my lunch break both days to put her down and she would drop off within 10-15 minutes and I would go back to work. I thought that waking up to me being gone was messing with her, but I've been home with her for four days now and it hasn't made any difference.
Any advice? Or is this something we just have to be patient with until it passes?
