Membrane sweep

Hi , I was just wondering if anyone went into labor after a membrane sweep or how long it took after you got it done before you started getting contractions. I have an induction date already scheduled but my ob said i could come in to get my membranes swept and i wanna know if it’s worth the extra pain !
