What do i do?

I just gave birth to my baby girl 2 weeks ago and i have a 18 month ol boy .. An my babies father just broke his back.. Im starting to think our baby girl is colic. She doesn't let me put her down for very long she fights her sleep so much where i fall asleep holding her 85% of the time.. My 18 month son is very rambunctious he loves to play with me and his father but his father is down for a count.. All im asking does any mothers have any advice for how do i help my little girl sleep on her own without crying herself blue

I suggest a carrier, so u can carry your daughter even while asleep and play with your son at the same time.

My first was colicky. I completely cut dairy from diet (milk, cheese, ice cream, creamer, etc) which helped immensely. Also, helped with losing the baby weight. I also put a pillow under her mattress in the crib to prop her up on angle to sleep. Pediatrician was okay with because the pillow wasnt in the crib. The little bit of an incline did wonders. Since they dont move that much when they are that little it was great. Once she learned to wiggle  she would roll down the mattress. 🤦‍♀️ But she had grown out of the colicky stage by then so I just took the pillow out.

My daughter was a little colicky when she was a baby. She would grunt and move all night if I put her down. I would literally be up every hour patting her and trying to get her comfy so she would stop squirming and just go to sleep. I also had an 18 month old. I honestly used a baby bouncer thats the only way she would get at least a couple of hours of sleep. Maybe it was the slight incline of the chair.

What do i do?
